Killarney, Ireland Day 1 & 2

Begin your Study Abroad Experience with a class on intercultural interpersonal skills before spending the day in Ireland.

Our Study Abroad will begin with 2 face to face and/or zoom meetings prior to travel. Since our first day of travel is before Summer I starts, we will have class early!

Day 1: Interpersonal discussion in the airport about travel etiquette, intercultural communication expectations, course expectations, homework assignments, and Tarleton travel behavior.

Arrive in Killarney, Ireland

Depending on when our flight arrives, we will have free time to explore Killarney as a small group. Dinner is provided from EF that evening.

Day 2 discussions will focus on relationship differences observed through travel, forming long distance relationships, cultural differences in relationships; forming relationships – how do we meet people?

Homework Assignments: journal about your concerns while traveling with regards to interpersonal communication.
