Interpersonal Communication

Study Abroad with the Communication Studies department Summer I 2024.  Learn about interpersonal communication while experiencing cross cultural interpersonal communication for yourself.  Join COMS 3304 Interpersonal Communication as we travel England, Ireland, and Wales using the Harry Potter books as artifacts for unpacking interpersonal communication on location.  Or, register for a basic speech course with Ms. Arrambide to get credit hours in while learning how to communicate and present.  Or, register for an independent study to fulfill a final course requirement.  Auditing non-students are also welcome.

Trip Details from EF Tours:

Travel Dates are May 14-24th (subject to small changes)

Full Course Dates are:  May 18th - July 3rd (tentative - Pending University Schedule)

This is an 8 week course, Summer I, subject to course fees per the  University.

EF Trip Cost (80% inclusive): $4600.00

EF trip cost covers: Flight, housing, travel, breakfast, all entry fees, Harry Potter excursions, 3 dinners, tips, and incidental travel fees. 

NOT Included:  Lunches, 7 dinners, spending money, Tarleton Insurance, course fees.

University Details:

All Students must register through the Tarleton Study Abroad Portal once the trip is approved.

All students must pay for the course and course fees for Summer I, 2024.  Estimated cost is $930.00

Any auditors must also register through the Study Abroad Portal and pay and auditing fee of $25, and agree to follow the Tarleton Policies and Procedures, as well as following the assignments in the syllabus.

Scholarships and EF vouchers are available for students.  Once the program is finalized, more information will be provided.
