EF books us into hotels that have wonderful continental breakfasts.  I spent most of my 2018 study abroad making sandwiches at breakfast and taking them with me for lunch.  EF tours does not provide lunch, though the guides will help us find good places to eat for cheap.  EF will provide 3 dinners while we are traveling, which will be set menus of local cuisine.  The other 7 dinners we will be on our own.  Again the guide will help us find cheap, tasty food.
